Creativity is the capacity of a person to produce compositions,products or ideas that they are essentially new or novel and previously unknown to the producer.It implies the production of a totally or partially novel identity.A creative act involves the process of producing original ideas,novel problem solutions,and utilizable innovations.Creativity is the ability of an individual to synthesise a novel idea or object,including the reshaping of what is already known to him which proves to be unique personal experience.

1.Creativity is universal.Every individual is capable of demonstrating creativity to some degree.

2.Creativity is innate as well as acquired.

3.Creativity carries ego involvement.Ones individuality and identity are totally merged in ones creation.

4.Creativity rests more on divergent thinking than on convergent thinking.

5.Creativity is not completely spontaneous:there is conscious elements in the process.
