Stream of consciousness piece.
Impervious to the world around me, my surroundings are like heat lightning cutting through my tunnel vision. Boom! Crash! Flicker! The scene changes, and my world and thoughts are about as unaffected as a roaring oceanic tide, chaotic and self-contained, yet destructive to all who dare to brave its’ depths, dangers still somewhat unknown and unpredictable. Vampires begin to get put out of context; is this a sign of the times? The battle of classics vs. classless? Take a swim, take a dive, all in all, it just means you’re alive. Work a lot, love unconditionally, send out a signal on any channel that will pick it up… invent a reality to shut everyone out, and keep yourself in, even if you’re one of the “popular ones”… the limits to what our minds can conceive are boundless, yet we’re still stuck in a veritable kiddie pool as a species, while apes are out swimming in the shark-infested deep waters.. waters that have been turned into toxic sludge-waste by those who could never appreciate what they could learn from it all..HAHAHAHA! That ecosystem struggles day to day, even before all of this, in a more simplistic way, fish eat algea, shark eat fish, whale eats shark, so on and so forth– no classes, no lies or manipulation, no politics to divide and conquer, only the harsh realities of strength & natural selection..seemed to work for them until the bumbling, biped idiots inserted themselves into the equation. Now it’s “oops, I just killed that dolphin!”, or “oh no, another oil spill injuring and poisoning hundreds of near extinct species, what will I do?…what’s for lunch?” Mindful conservation, my ass!
