DADDY.
by Aya Gano Takinan on Monday, November 22, 2010 at 12:37am.

I just had a talk with my old man just a while back and the feeling is more than overwhelming . He greeted me a week advance and I said your girl isn’t a teen anymore and he jokingly uttered, “Stop counting there my dear so you’d be a teen forever.” Then he said he got  a song for me, In my daughter’s eyes. Seconds after, I started crying.

It was just a song but it’s so strong that it hit me deep. And while hearing it, I felt that Daddy was telling me something.

Anya: Yes Daddy. But still thanks because you’re always there not just in my financial needs.

Daddy: That’s included in the package, right? That’s what I am here for. Love you.

And I cried more. I wrote this one down because I want to remember that line forever. Moments like this heightens up my passion for life and my drive to go all out for my dreams in life.

Daddy, you’re one of my best-est miracle that I got in my life.

I love you. :)
