Acknowledging the pain within.

I’m damaged and I’m sure you are as well, but we keep things a secret when your story you should tell. Wondering why you are always loving yourself less, when you should love yourself the very best.

We all have a past with things we would like to hide, dark ugly secrets we store deep inside. Abandonment, molestation and brutality to say the least, these are some of those ugly things that cause us such disgrace, but if you live long enough it’ll get thrown in your face.

Young kids suffering and they have nowhere to turn, while not feeling happy when its love that they yearn. There are sick individuals snacking on innocence of youth, not being a role model but inflicting the abuse.

Young mothers having kids too soon, they grow up latch key children and left alone, at home, frightened in their rooms. Watching and waiting for their next warm meal.  Some days they get none and sometimes grow ill.

Echoes of tears heard silently in my head, thinking about moments that I wish I were dead. I have misunderstanding about what really is love, when I should have known it came from above.

Even though these issues don’t apply to me, I needed to verbalize this so everyone could see; it’s an honor to be blessed with a child, so protect them the best way that you know how. Help our children grow into reasonable adults, who don’t blame others for their own inbred type faults.

My message to you is there is damage in everyone, but you can rise from this and forget the damage that’s done. You are very special and should love yourself first; fill your heart with goodness until it overflows and burst.

Try to share the goodness that flows inside of you, because even if you’re broken God can fix that part too. He will pick up the pieces and gather them with love; and fill all the cracks with his supernatural love.

Excellent article with a very inspirational message. Yes, we should all love ourselves first before anything. Once you love yourself, you don’t accept disrespect or abuse from any man. A lot of men think they can treat women like doormats. I can relate to you in terms of love and misunderstanding. I ask myself if it does really exist. Love has many different meaning for different people. And yes, only God has the power to fix that part which is broken. Sometimes we have to reach out to him because it is beyond our control.”Echoes of tears heard silently in my head, thinking about moments that I wish I were dead.” Your quote: Remember that your life is precious………

You picked a topic that a lot of us can relate to, unfortunately we need to learn skills on how to conquer the damage of our past. Take in consideration that often the victims sometimes becomes the abusers because they didn’t fix those broken areas. Stop holding things in and work through them. I enjoyed this piece for alot of reason, even though there are alot memories I would love to forget. Great Job and thought provoking!

This piece is controversial, but yet another issue that faces us daily that we may need to address. This writer is profound. She has even earlier work that rocks.
