A letter from a girl to her Dad saying shes sorry.

Dear Dad,

Sorry about the day before, when I hurt your feelings so bad. I just got angry and started to shout. You had every right to lecture me and now I know that. I should’av been paying attention in maths. I know now don’t always listen to your friends and fail in maths. I really think maths is okay but passing notes is a bit more fun. That’s not my fault I’ll always like my friends more than work. If I liked work more I’d be really weird and you wouldn’t like that. I love you and I love my friends but if I had to choose I choose you. I take you for granted. When I have you I think your a embarrassed but if I didn’t I’d wish I had. So please forgive me.

Love your one and only daughter!

Respect your Dad. We can\’t be your friends all the time, sometimes we have to put the foot down for your own good.

What a precious note to your father! I am sure that he will cherish it. I have two daughters, aged 14 and 17, and I am often an embarrassment to them, but life is a circle – what goes around comes around – and someday you will be an embarrassment to your own kids and you will have to try to convince them that maths is important. You will still remember that passing notes was more fun, but you can\’t tell your kids that.

I think it is very cute that you reminded your dad that you are his one and only daughter. Then you just have to look at him with those big (green/blue/brown?) eyes and his heart will melt.

  • Christina on Nov 7, 2010

I love your work. It’s so creative. I can tell your a creative person because you always write poems and creative writing on Triond never articles. It’s wonderful to be creative. Keep up the good work.

  • Sorcha on Nov 7, 2010

I agree with Karen Gross. Great writing.

  • Kate34 on Nov 7, 2010

To Lindsey: Triond is fun but not too easy because you have too advertise loads your not going to become a millionaire or even a thousandaire on Triond. I’ve only made 93 cents and I started on the 15th of October. I hope you join and share your work with the world and most of all have lots of fun.

  • Kate34 on Nov 7, 2010

To Christina: Thank you so much. I am creative and I do enjoy writing poems and creative writing. Triond doesn’t except my articles I’ve tryed 5 times. It’s because of readabilty errors but I check and I have none.

  • Kate34 on Nov 7, 2010

To: Kelly, Elise, Holly and Sorcha: Thank you I try my best. I will keep up my work until I at least earn 50 dollars the minimum cashout by check.

  • Casey on Nov 7, 2010

Like every single person said your work is amazing Kate. You rock. Have so much fun on Triond. You will reach 50 dollars but it will take a while.

  • Kathy on Nov 7, 2010

Really sweet note for your dad, Olga :) I liked it very much. Thanks for sharing. You should always tell your parents if you love them and tell them that they mean something to you even though it sometimes can be difficult.

    Best regards,
    BluSphere
