She was in Hawaii and I felt the baby kick.

Nicole

Whew, what a whirlwind job!  Now you are in Hawaii, how exciting to open up a new facility.  I hope they let you take time off to wind surf, because I know you love to do it.  I remember when you told me you learned it in Mexico, how many times it took before you could stand up straight.  You know I would not be able to do that, because I am such a scaredy cat.

Do you remember the time in the camper when we were staying at the beach and you said that someone was watching through the window?  How scared I got and how you started laughing because it was a joke.  I was mad for a while, but you know I was never ever able to stay mad at you for long.  You always were laughing and were always able to make me laugh too.

I really thought I would have morning sickness with pregnancy, but I haven’t had any, thank goodness.  In fact I feel great!  Maybe it is all these hormones in me bringing forth new life, etc.  On the way home from work the other day I felt the baby kick!  Here I am driving and I feel something, it was the most amazing feeling and when I wanted it to do it again, it wouldn’t.  I couldn’t wait to tell husband and then we had to wait a long time before the baby kicked again.  So much for kicking on demand!  Maybe that means the baby will not do as it’s told when it gets here.

We don’t want to find out if it is a girl or boy before it is born.  I think it is more fun that way.  We will get to pick out boy and girl names and when it arrives, we will look at it and decide what to call it.  All babies look like the names they are given, or they grow into them.  At least that is how I feel.

Well bye for now, time for my nap.
