Because in the wildlife many of the animals must fight everyday to either get there food for themselves and for there families.

For example:

Lions must wait for there prey’s to come out, then they have to sneak up to them and wait till there idle and then go for the attack. Also even after u kill them u still have to share it, while in the zoo animals are get a good serving of food for themselves and don’t have to starve to death to get a small portion of there meal.

It common sense that animals living in the wildlife is better for the animals, but animals have less safety in the wildlife, for example 90% of skunks die in there first winter, that is only a matter of months, even thou they may live for a matter of years. What kind of live is that? Getting killed by the cold or some careless driver. Even thou skunks have a very strong self-defense skunk spray do u think that it could stop a car going 80/km an hour? But a zoo gives safety to the skunk, shelter and food.

Statistics says that 71% of the Canadian grade 8 class attending Frenchman’s bay public school believe also that zoo do NOT do more harm then good. Example when I asked my aunt to go camping she said yes, the next week I when to her house, I was all ready up packed up, until I c the furniture on the ground , so I knew we weren’t going camping.

Expert Opinion Well I could find some 10 year zoo expert knows it all, but I got one of my favorite teachers Ms. Hetner. Here her quote” A lot of zoo do a lot of research to make animal more at home, also the zoo protect endanger species.”

For example remember the dodo bird, bit the DODO bird the dodo bird if the zoo had just borrowed a couple of them for a little of time and found out that they where a endanger species then they would make them repopulate then I believe we would sail have a dodo bird, here, alive and well.
