A little learning is dangerous. Negative.
Good afternoon chairperson and ladies and gentlemen. As my first and second debaters have clearly stated a little learning is definitely not a dangerous thing. A little learning goes a long way.
Second speaker asked the question how dangerous is someone who thinks they can dance but cant dance? The only danger there is embarrassment. So why is that different for someone who thinks they can read but cant. Again their only danger is endangering their studies. My second speaker also talked about our grandparents growing up in the great depression without sufficient learning. Yet we see them living happy lives 50, 60, 70 years later. Was little learning dangerous them. As pointed out by my second speaker another good example is the financial crisis. All the economists in America who are deemed to be quite smart have caused this crisis, not the third world population of Africa. So again, who are the less knowledgeable endangering when the fact is it’s the more knowledgeable who are causing the misery in peoples lives. My third speaker also mentioned the fact that people who run family businesses are not awfully smart but yet they can still manage a successful business. Also the local fruit vender teaches his kids to sell fruit and is that doing society any harm?
So after the points put forward by my first and second speakers we can conclude that a little learning is not a dangerous thing and you don’t need to know about physics or chemistry or Shakespeare to be happy and achieve success in life. A little learning goes a long way.
