Meditative thought for reflection.
Today is a release from madness for the thought that we need protection of any kind is just that madness. Today we delight in the simplicity of being defenseless, bearing open arms to engulf our bothers and sisters in the embrace we have longed for. This subtle urging reminds us to delve deeper today in our meditations to remain present and pay attention to foolish thoughts that happen by. This time we spend is only awareness, there is no good, no bad thoughts only our thoughts. Being Master to them all, we choose which thoughts serve our purpose today. The game of judgment leads us right back to our little hobby of building defenses, so today we sit in quiet reflection and consciously choose to play such childish games no longer for we are here with a purpose and that purpose is to awaken from the dream where the foolish idea of something happening to a Child of God is anything but his expressed wish. Life only seems to happen to us, we are the cause of every event and each encounter, and yes loved ones will continue to die and tragic events will continue to happen and each of these is a new opportunity to let go of an old idea, a old definition of what things mean and what their purpose is. May cultures celebrate death (ours being one of the only ones that does not). Do not tragic events always usher in change and if we welcomed these events, again without defenses, would they not appear differently? If we could simply remove our selfish and self centered ideas would we ever take anything personally again? Today let us recognize that we need no defense because we are created unassailable, without all thought or wish or dream in which attack has any meaning. Now there is no need to fear, for we have left all those silly fearful thoughts behind. In our defenselessness we stand tall, serenely certain of our wellbeing now, sure of recovery; sure we will fulfill our chosen purpose, as our thoughts and actions extend our holy blessing throughout the world.
