Who defines what is common sense?
- Common sense has no universal meaning.
- An individual defines common sense.
- What is common may not make sense to another individual.
- What is sense may not be common to another individual.
- Sense is individually defined. The society defines the norms.
- There is nothing obvious to everyone. “It is common sense phrase” is misleading. The phrase should be used to teach an individual what limitations he/she does not portray, as defined by the society as “ common sense”.
- You may correct act(s) considered to be common sense by showing/teaching the individual how to conform to society’s definition of common sense.
- Individuals have senses that are not common to others, “THERE IS NO COMMON SENSE”.
- I am stupid to request a universal definition of “COMMON SENSE” from my esteemed audience.
