Nicki Minaj, often called Barbie, is a very artistic and slightly crazy singer and rapper from Trinidad and Tobago. She’s famous for her own style, with sometimes angry voice-parts in a rap. Often she’ll sound real cute and barbie-ish, while other times screaming and epic faces.

This blog is called definition of Nicki Minaj parody, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do now. I’m writing this simply because some things in for example Take180’s awesome Nicki Minaj parodies are funny, but might not sound familiar. Here are certain points out of the parodies defined.

1. Da Dun Dun
So, I’m starting with Da Dun Dun, simply because I didn’t know what it was. It sounds really funny, but why is it connected to Nicki Minaj? Here’s why: listen to the song Check it Out from Minaj featuring Wil.I.Am. Skip to around 2 minutes and 22 seconds, where Minaj will start rapping. She’ll say Da Dun Dun twice. Next to that, she has tweeted the following: 

New Nictionary * Da Dun Dun ; used wen u have no more words 4 wash-ups and shortcakes. Sentence : Fall bak hoe! Da dun dun!

2. British Accent
Two things are taken out of the song Roman’s Revenge featuring Eminem, and one of those is the British accent which is frequently used in parodies. The British rapping starts around 4:05 minutes in Roman’s Revenge. 

3. Like a dungeon dragon
This is the second thing which has been taken out of the song Roman’s Revenge. If you listen to the refrain, you’ll here both Eminem and Minaj saying it throughout the song. 

4. Rawr Rawr
She often does this, which is why it’s frequently used as well. For example, Rawr Rawr like a dungeon dragon. 

5. Angry face

That’s why they make fun of that face. So funny.

6. Different hairstyles
Well, look at all the pictures above. Or, simply type in Nicki Minaj on Google Pictures. Look at all those different hairstyles.. that’s just awesome. 

To conclude this blog, I’d like to say that Nicki Minaj is awesome and very creative. I hope she makes much more music and funny faces/videos. I sure enjoy them!
