There are many personal Demons we as individuals fight; in many cases we fight them many times a day. The fight seems to be a never ending story and to some degree it is because as long as you live the choices you make are very much a part of the process.

For example: I’ve been told I should manipulate the system to get my children back. It was a manipulator of the system that split my family apart to begin with, that and poor choices on my ex-husbands part. For those that don’t understand “manipulation” it is where you will do and or say anything even if you don’t believe a word of it, just to obtain the desired ends you wish to have. Drug Addicts and Alcoholics will go to the mandatory classes and tell their instructors what they know the instructor wants to hear instead of the truth they feel. As in the case of the person who caused the break-up of my family the very minute they get their paperwork signed off by the courts they seek out their suppliers and go right back to doing what got them into trouble to begin with. These people never intended to straighten out their lives; most of them see nothing wrong with the way they choose to live.

Others like one of my sister’s friends in Texas manipulated the government so she received money from her illegal husband’s work in her name because he was illegally here and could not get a bank account, then received welfare for her children all at the same time. Now if that’s not manipulation what is?

Often times manipulation and mischief work together to create confusion and unnecessary drama in other peoples lives. Most often other people get hurt from this assault. The only one that may benefit even if for a short time is the person doing the manipulation. I say for a time because I’m a firm believer in Karma, “what you send out from you comes back ten times at you.” Positive action will give you positive action back negative action will give you negative action back.

Both manipulation and mischief are personal demons we all must decide to either fight or give in to. Lets take a closer look at manipulation; in order to be manipulative you must be willing to lie about things now there is the Demon of lies; you must be willing to must make others believe something that’s not true, there’s the Demon of deception. One can make others believe one thing when in reality it is something else by using words with double meanings, telling half truths or omitting something that would clarify the true meaning or intent. These are the two main Demons people accept and live their existence with today making them one of the most destructive combinations of Demons in life. These Demons destroys families, friendships and will eventually destroy you too.
