Is it better to catch the moment with a camera, or to write about it?

Memories should never be forgotten. Most people have their different ways in remembering specific moments, whether it be with a journal they keep, or a camera they take everywhere.

Those who enjoy writing, remember their experiences by writing it in a book that is personal to them. Many write daily, about what occurred that day. Others write about their feelings, to get it out and vent. A few years later, when they look back in their journal and read through the pages, they will remember their memories the way they experienced it, and all their emotions about that day or event.

While some may not enjoy sitting down and reflecting their day, those remember moments but capturing it with a camera. They will take their camera with them, and capture pictures of them having fun, or a new adventure they have encountered. Looking back on those pictures, they nay remember that location where the picture was taken and the people they were with.

Although most people like to choose one or the other. Why not do both? Take pictures during the day, and later at night, while the memory is still fresh in your head, write about all your feelings, and the laughs you had that day. This way when you are looking back at your memories, you will not only remember every detail and the fun you had that day, but you will also have a picture , you keep that memory alive.
