This world is filled with smiley faces & happy winks, hugs, kisses & laughter out loud

When there has never been so much heartache & despair it seems; yet we still all ignorantly stand proud 

The whole of this quaint little existence is falling apart at the seams, no more great empires it seems,

As if someone had shifted a load bearing beam, in the environment that surrounds me & my lifetime’s dreams,

 And on the news it doesn’t seem much better, the financial world’s palms had never been sweatier,

Than the moment we reside in, these darkened days of uncertainty!

People getting shot at daily, governments are failing to see, the unstoppable anguish of their people worldly,

Possessions are merely props to make the people happy, but from this mass panic that surrounds us, can anyone save me?

While we animate our communications & falsify our emoticons, the whole world is crying, can you see their tears streaming?

Like information flowing into a fluctuating server, heading southward, or am I dreaming?

It meanders through the suburbs, wreaking havoc on the well being, in any country or any town, city or village, you hear the dreaded sound,        

“the whole world is in a different state”, I hear people say, a few Laugh out louds & smiley faces cover up the tracks, of the newest global changes ,

 There’s seldom been a better time than now, that we should all be pulling together people, amassing a crowd,

To help our mother earth we won’t forget her, or her contents never ever, I hope that one day we can make her all better
