Work your garden-you’ll end up with plenty of food;

Play and party-you’ll end up with an empty plate.

Appetite is an incentive to work;

Hunger makes you work all the harder.

Skilled workers are always in demand and admired;

They don’t take a back seat to anyone.

Bad work gets paid with a bad check;

Good work gets solid pay.

Slack habits and sloppy work

Are as bad as vandalism.              

Better to be ordinary and work for a living

Than act important and starve in the process.

Hard work always pays off

Mere talk puts no bread on the table.

The diligent find freedom in their work

 The lazy are oppressed by work.

Diligent work gets a warm commendation
