What policies should be regarding disconnection of service.

It is my belief and opinion that regardless of the company, evey consumer should get a warning before getting disconnected. I don’t just mean power, I mean every bill you get.  It’s so easy to forget a bill with all the bills the average adult has.  So when one bill is forgotten you sometimes get no warning and viola go to use your computer and no internet. Who thinks of internet first?  Chances are something tied the person down and they were just going to pay a month late or even just a few weeks late. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. I get it if someone is several months behind but one month, shutting off without warning is just crude and disrespectful. The companies should be understanding to the people that’s paying them money for their services. Just an opinion of an adult that yes gets behind on bills every now and then. Thank goodness I haven’t gotten disconnected on anything yet, but I’ll admit I’ve came close before.
