A female professor from Balochistan University was gunned down by tribal insurgents. The reason behind her target killing seems to be connected with the fact that she was from an area of Punjab that the Balochi people claim are denying their independence.

It is apparent that this woman had nothing to do with the unfair treatment of these people and yet she was viciously murdered. The people of Pakistan have been successfully divided into groups, cohesion seems an alien concept for them. We are our own enemy, our home is no longer safe.
