I felt like an ass for taking it down, cheers..

This is the front view of the Dmg-01 cpu-08, it might not look like your mobo, but for the sake of this tutorial the things you will be doing to yours are in the same place, and more or less from the same values, These two cap’s need to go, the two I am talking about are the two that are squared in red. these two along with two resistors limit the audio signal from the cpu, for now Just leave the resistors, but take the two capacitors off.

This is the back view of the the mobo, I outlined the area in red again, this is where the pins of the two cap’s should be, if you have a rework air gun you can give that area some flux, some heat and remove the caps, if you don’t a soldering Iron will do fine, but as stated before the two have to go, if you have solder wick it would be helpful here, because you will be using the same pin holes.

this is a close up of the area, you will use two wires, and jump the two areas where the capacitors were, keep in mind that you will have two separate jumps, that is why I have them in two different colors, don’t connect the two(make sure you have two different jumps) if you don’t then you will end up with mono sound, and you know nobody wants mono :P

well, that’s it, after you do that your should have better bass, when I did this I was quite inpressed as to what sounds I wasn’t hearing before, well

I do know this isn’t as well written as the original, but if you have any questions I will answer them here,

thank you all

PS

* I have to put some sort of disclaimer because everyone else seems to as well,

please don’t blame me for what happens to your gameboy

if you break it then that’s on you, blame the cat or something else but not me, as I have done this quite a bit and just wanted to share*

also please be considerate and make sure you don’t like copy and paste this or any portion of this somewheres else,

any reference should be done with a url of this.

thank you again

and happy music :D
