I had always dreamed of living in the wilderness with a stream, trees, flowers, birds and animals all around.  Over time I realized that was never going to be an option for me and I felt that I really need a safe haven where I could lose all the hardships of the day and just go to a quiet zone.  The community I live in is no means that quiet, but, I have developed my property into my quiet place.  From a weed infested lawn to gardens and ponds; a brook; fish; with shrubs and trees I have my safe haven.  No matter what kind of day I have had I can lose myself in the sounds of the babbling brook, the songs of the robins and jays and the slight breeze that ever so softly moves through the leaves of the trees.  Peaceful, without any doubt this is my happy place.
