Today I bring you a brief reflection on a concept that humans have been using for thousands of years but whose existence we do not have complete certainty. It is luck.

Without doubt, words such as “how lucky I’ve had!” or that person is very lucky! “are very present in our day to day. Many play the lottery convinced that going to play the jackpot and others entrusted with stones and talismans when passing an examination. But … is there really luck?
From my point of view, the issue is not so much to accept or deny the existence of luck, but the problem of defining the concept: what can we really consider as lucky?
Since everything in life is quite relative, as we mentioned in our article on cognitive psychology also relies heavily on how we construct our own reality, since we advocate SomosPsico enormous difficulty in adequately defining the term.
Take one example. Imagine that tomorrow you touch the lottery. Surely you would go mad with joy, shouting and running from side to side. Later, it could happen to that the fact of entering a lot of money so suddenly take you to invest heavily in a business that ultimately it is not work and eventually ruin.
Not to be ominous, but it is something that can happen. Even been shown that eventually, the vast majority of people who had won the lottery not be happier expressed before, and in many cases have made so much money had brought them only family problems caused them to develop a previous psychopathology that kept latent, as in the case of mania.
As an opposite example, something we consider at first may end up negative into something positive. Could be suspended for a test. Although at first you do not see the good side of nowhere, you might serve to interest you more for that matter and you end up dedicating to the field for the rest of your life.
As I mentioned earlier, this is only a reflection, which may help us to value things in perspective. May be a good idea to learn to take things with relativity presented without always assume that bad things will happen or not thinking that you’re all done.
I truly believe that luck is nothing more than a random presumably favorable, but the substance remains random. The connotations that brings will, therefore, want to put everyone.
