We say it all the time, but what are you really afraid of.

We say this all the time, but it is our human nature to be fearful! Some are frighten by loud noises, while others of the dark. The truth is, we are afraid of the unknown and that is a very logical, explanation. The unknown won’t be going away, so we should all stop saying don’t be frightened, and move on with our lives.

Scary sounds in the night, they always frighten me, and when I had dogs, I always trusted them. If they did not start barking I felt secure. Now they are gone and I must listen carefully, so as not to over react and call the police.

What scares us all is the future, since many of us are unsure of what it holds. For some it may wealth and happiness, while other seem to suffer. It’s just the way to look at things and put them into prospective. You can be poor and happy;  or you can be wealthy and unhappy.

We are frighten when a new challenge head our way, since all of us are afraid of failure. We should not be afraid of failure, since with every failure, usually a lesson has been learned.

Knowing what we are afraid of, is the best way to deal with fears; but sometimes dealing with the fear is what frightens us the most. They say if you are afraid of heights that you should conquer the fear by going up in a tall building and looking down. If I had this fear, I would probably need a tranquilizer to get down.

There may not always be an easy way out of challenging situations, but it does not hurt to ask or try.

    Elizebeth,
A great article you have written here. No matter how brave people act, they all still fear something. Keep up the great work!!! Want to see more of your writing.
