I don’t know about the rest of you patriots, but I’m damn tired of the Executive and Legislative racketeers in Washington treating us like we are incapable of making a decision without their help.

    Because we protest proposed bills, lately the health care reform, that we are Republicans planted in town hall meetings to cause chaos.  I affiliate with no political party. Personally I am ashamed of both.  Neither care about the people they are supposed to represent. They care about furthering their own political careers. They may enter their political careers with the best of intentions for us, but once there become corrupt. 

    Special interest groups and lobbyists coddling with politicians is a recipe for corruption.  The only people that profit are the afore mentioned.  As Lord Action quoted,” Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”  Watching the political tug-of-war going on in Washington turns this quote to truth.

    I live my life with the belief I am no better than anyone else, and no one is better than me.  We are all equal in our inalienable rights.  When politicians want to take away my liberty, and I mean the power of choice, can anyone do that? What makes them better than us? Power.  Money.  Power+Money=Corruption.  I believe this is the nature of anyone.  I can not say I would not be corrupt if put in this position.  I would hope I would not lose my beliefs.  If any change can be made it needs to change in our legislative branch.  Get rid of the special intrest groups and lobbyists.  Make the congressmen, senators and representatives work for their money, I mean OUR money. 

     I am not going to sit idlly and be insulted by egotistical politicians.  As a patriot and a believer in the Constitution, I will fight for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
