A small article about the phrase "don’t worry, be happy"

Don’t worry, be happy: basically is a phrase. It is also used in a famous song by musician Bobby McFerrin. Released in September 1988. This phrase basically is very deep, touchy and really philosophical. to understand the structure of this phrase, let’s divide this phrase into two parts.

1. Don’t worry

2. Be happy

Now if we give a little bit deep thought to both parts, surprisingly we came to know that indeed these parts are very small and just comprises of two words each but they have whole universe enclosed inside them.

Don’t worry; very simple to say and yet very small statement. Its very common these days to say this, but have we ever thought that what it is saying? As these days, every where, in every aspect of life, there is a race of winning. Everyone is trying to become more rich, more famous, more stable, trying to secure him or her self more than anyone else not having faith and trust in their own self. They are just doing whatever they have to do to achieve certain goals. They don’t care about anybody that if they are hurting someone by their actions or they are capturing the rights of others, etc.

In this moment of selfishness “Don’t worry” is a very peaceful and calming, relaxing statement which creates a great humbleness in the person who is suffering. Don’t worry is just like a cold water in a desert with a sun shining at an arms length upon you, showering its killing rays. This is a small statement but it creates a charisma like someone is saying, “don’t worry all your sorrows, all your griefs and all your miseries are just about to end, have patience and kill your all tensions”.

Be happy; which means stay calm, stay cool, don’t get frustrated, etc. is a small statement containing only two words. But it hides a universe in it. Universe of patience, universe of tolerance, universe of humbleness and so on. In-fact it is a small prayer which one can give very easily and it costs nothing, what it cost is only two seconds of ones time. Spending two seconds of time rewards in a great pleasure.

So, if we combine both statements which becomes “Don’t worry, be happy”, it makes a strong yet very light phrase which have the magical powers to create calmness, to make relax, to create peace and harmony. One very strong point about this beautiful phrase is that it shows the beauty and the greatness of the person who says it in this era of selfishness.

What i suggest to my readers is “make a habit of saying this and, yes, do understand and realise the depth of it and act upon it”. Don’t worry, be happy… :)
