Best House in the World              

Anytime I come home from a tough day of school, hard work at football, and or from a road trip I will always know I’m coming home, to an amazing and peaceful place.  I live in a home that is like heaven in every way.  Like I imagine, everything about my house feels perfect.  My house is the best place in the World.  My house is safe and secure, it’s never boring, and it’s relaxing and soothing. 

The first reason why my house is the best place in the World is because it’s secure and safe inside.  My house is made out of brick and is built on/in a hill.  This makes it safe for weather in Minnesota—safe from strong storms and tornadoes.  The house has three doors and many windows that all lock manually.  This makes me feel safe at night and comforts me.  My house has shades on most of the windows and doors for privacy.  Privacy is hard to come by in my neighborhood because I live right next to the Old Log Theatre.  People are always walking up and down our street and without the shades anyone can see right into my house.  My house protects us from the small crimes to natural disasters. 

Another reason why my house is the best place in the World is because it’s literally, never boring.  Inside and out, there are so many things to do.  In the inside we have five TV’s so we can watch any of our favorite TV shows and play intense video games.  There is a ping pong table that turns into a pool table upstairs in the loft.  We always have board games on our kitchen table—some of the games are; Settlers of Catan, Trouble, and Scrabble.  Outside we have a pool, 9feet deep and great for parties.  We have two hills, great for slip and slides made from tarps.  The slip and slides at my house are a HUGE deal.  Both my older siblings and I invite many of our friends over, just to go on the slip and slide.  We even have a basketball hoop in the driveway, a volleyball court in the backyard, and a fire pit for bonfires and roasting marshmallows.  There is ALWAYS something to do at my house.

The last reason why my house is the best place to live is because it’s relaxing and easy to feel the comfort.  When you walk into my house you experience this good-feeling atmosphere in the house.  It’s truly unexplainable.  The environment in my house is soothing and cheerful. I haven’t been able to figure out what it is—maybe it’s the amazing carpeting which covers the house? Maybe it’s the beautiful artistic pictures on the walls?  Maybe it’s the temperature in the house? Or maybe even the painted walls?  My house is special in many ways and this is one of them.  All of these things, and more, create a wonderful feeling for anyone in my house.

I love my house.  My family loves my house.  My friends love my house.  No one can explain the feeling of my house.  It’s an amazing, fun, relaxing, and comforting place to call home.  This is why my house is truly the best place in the World.  I hope heaven is as nice!
