Strange, twisted and completely unhinged.
Dream: Unusually Amusing Worlds:
Two things I’ve always found funny about the human mind is its ability to let us think around problems and how it seems to create the oddest scenarios when we’re dreaming through the night. The strangest things seem to occur to our minds when we asleep, and it seems intent on making out it never came up with anything in the few minutes we wake up to another day, it’s a shame that we lose out on those dreams of complete unhinged creativity—strange to call it creative—and be completely ok with losing it. But the world of dreams seems like the part of human’s creativity taking the oddest forms without the logic of when we’re awake preventing it.
I hear dreaming is how our minds shifts through the experience of the day, which should make the oddity of what dreams can churn out—for me—be seen as breaking a few walks of logical surreal sense, when I woke up this morning with the clear memory of what I had dreamt, so please take one dash Die Hard along with a teaspoon of Neon Genesis Evangelion to have even a clue of what my mind somehow got itself to dream.
Somehow my mind had come into contact with Die Hard and Neon Genesis Evangelion during my day yesterday, and decided it needed to be processed into a fucked up dream mixing a few scenes from Die Hard (the air ducts ones) and the ideas of NGE—which makes it a shame I can only remember the final shootout involving a table or two. And this was actual tables being used in a shootout within a mind mangling fucked up floor of an impossibly insane skyscraper of Die Hard mecha filled logic.
I really don’t know what else my mind could’ve consumed beyond the odd thought of NGE and someone mentioning Die Hard—freaking once! But the oddest point of the whole Neon Die Genesis Hard dream came with the end—quite a strange situation of me waking up the moment the dream had come to its own rollercoaster of an end—with a shootout going with me flinging a table and then being shot once. Hooray for my un-death when I found myself in a high-rise classy bar somewhere—and I really want to consider this one of those dreams you can’t forget out of the sanity it was trying to put forth—simply me being served a drink by some skeleton (?…?…??????) and finding myself to look back at a billion skeletons dress in crimson, waiting in a line stretching back for a thousand miles within a unending bar.
If anyone reads this: question the sanity of what I dreamt.
Thought of the Day: September 28th:
I really lack a full idea of what I should make of a dream such as that.
