The bad cause of using drugs.
When i was in grade 5 i had to attend a program which is entitled D.A.R.E.And DARE stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education. It is an educational fun program. I like DARE because you get to do fun lessons, do fun roles, learn new words and get prizes. DARE is a good program because it helps kids to become drug-free and resist violence.
I have learned that using alcohol can change personality and you can loose your balance. I have learned how to stay drug-free and different ways of saying no. Also I have learned a lot in DARE and I’m proud of it.
The reason it is important to stay drug-free, because you can die from drugs and get diseases like lung cancer. Also you will have bad breath, no friends, and you could get kicked out of the house, and you could be poor for a long time.
So,since that i had learned from this program.I will never smoke nor to try smoking. Smoking can cause lung problems. It could even give you lung cancer. Smoking becomes addictive. During the 1900’s scientists accumulated increasing evidence that smoking can be hazardous to a person’s death. This is saying that every time you smoke, you are one step closer to risking your life!
Drinking alcohol is something I will never do. Such drinks that have alcohol are beer, wine, and liquors. You are risking your life when you drink those things. Those things can affect your brain cells. When they do affect your cells, you tend to move and think slower. That is why they say, “Don’t drink and drive,” because you will most likely get in an accident because you will be thinking slower.
Drugs are very bad for you. They can also affect your mind and thoughts. Once you start taking drugs you usually can’t live without them. It is not good to be addicted to things especially to things like drugs that can hurt your body. Once you are addicted, it usually becomes a habit and you can’t stop. All three of these things are bad for you and you should never start doing any of them.
