Elements (by Zanz) Guide by iWriter88. Great beginner guide with many useful tips on deckbuilding. No section for False Gods-will be a separate guide since False Gods are huge.
Elements the Game Guide
Getting Started:
There are generally 4 types of cards.
1) Pillar/Tower cards, basically cards needed to play things. Playing these cards onto the field will give you quantum, which is used to play cards.
2) Creature cards. Creature cards are very important since they are your main damage dealer. Thus, many other cards are used to control/boost creatures on both sides of the field.
3) Spell cards. Spell cards are used for an immediate impact to the field.
4) Permanent cards. Permanent cards are also very important because they influence cards in the long term (and often short term as well). Permanent cards include shields and weapons.
Choosing your element!
Here’s a quick overview of all the elements in the game.
Darkness: One of the most well rounded elements. Has permanent “control” (explained later), creature control, and ways to get back health.
Strengths: Everything. Weakness: Lacks truly powerful cards. Overpowered Cards: Steal
Death: Specializes in death. In other words, death has many ways to kill creatures and many ways to benefit from the killing of creatures.
Strengths: Shield, Creature Control. Weakness: No permanent control, weak (expendable) creatures. Overpowered Cards: Bonewall
Water: Very similar to death in the fact that it has plenty of creature control. Water is a synergy element-you must combine it with another element in order to be effective.
Strengths: Many cards that require other elements. Weakness: Lacks powerful cards, no permanent control. Overpowered Cards: Poseidon (req. Earth), Permafrost Shield
Life: Life, as you might guess from the name, is full of gaining back health. However, due to a recent update, life has become a very efficient rush, filled with cheap and powerful creatures.
Strengths: Cheap/powerful creatures, ways to gain life. Weakness: No permanent or creature control. Overpowered cards: Forest Spirit, Empathic Bond
Earth: A pretty powerful element! Earth has many cheap, powerful creatures. However, its real value lies in its pillar/tower control. With quicksand, you can decimate the other player’s pillars. And Earth has arguably the best weapon, Pulverizer. Good with other elements.
Strengths: Powerful creatures, Pillar Control, Powerful cards, Permanent Control. Weakness: No opponent permanent control, little creature control. Overpowered cards: Pulverizer, Quicksand, Graboid
