This sentence will introduce your topic (“globalization”).  This is the thesis statement which describes your opinion on Canada’s involvement in the global village.  This sentence will discuss Canada’s economic involvement.  This sentence will discuss Canada’s political involvement.  This sentence will discuss Canada’s developmental connections.  This is the concluding sentence which re-states your thesis statement and paves the way for your first body paragraph. 

  EXAMPLE/OUTLINE OF THE FIRST BODY PARAGRAPH INSIDE A SUPPORTED OPINION ESSAY

This is the introduction statement that is always written at the beginning of each body paragraph.  This is the statement that reiterates your opinion as it relates to Canada’s economic involvement within your topic (”globalization”). This sentence will discuss the first proof for the opinion that you outlined in your introductory paragraph.  This sentence (and any more if necessary!) extends the discussion on the first proof (Clark et al.  184). This sentence will discuss the second proof for the opinion that you outlined in your introductory paragraph.  This sentence (and any more if necessary!) extends the discussion on the second proof (Clark et al. 210). This sentence will discuss the third proof for the opinion that you outlined in your introductory paragraph (Clark et al. 356).  This sentence (and any more if necessary!) extends the discussion on the third proof (Clark et al. 400). Finally, this is the concluding sentence of the body paragraph in which the thesis statement or your original opinion is re-stated.
