Face changing performance at South Molton Street, Oxford Street, for Hong Kong Live.

Yesterday around 1 pm I went to South Molton street and got to see a face changing performance!

All this week there are short performances from traditional Hong Kong dances.  Face changing is one of them and I got to watch a man change his mask at least 10 times within a second.  It looked effortless, I’ve put a picture up of him when he first started the performance wearing a red mask.

It was a short dance about 5 minutes or so and it was nice to see something different in oxford street.

I managed to film the dance so I will try and see if I can put it up somewhere online so others can also enjoy it.

In the meantime if you work around Oxford Street take a walk around South Molton street around 1pm, 5pm and 7 pm.  It started this week the 12th September and will finish on Sunday the 18th September so stop by and see if you can catch some weird and wonderful performances.
