How can someone be real all the time if they have to be fake in their survival instincts?
When someone uses the term real or fake, do you find them to be ’stuck down in the ground’ kind of words? Lets say that they’re not and that they are more like opinionated words that come from within. Such as ugly, perfection etc.
How can someone be real all the time if they have to be fake in their survival instincts? (Human nature, if you will).
We ‘wing’ it at work, or say “hello” to the person who passes us by out of gesture and politeness with expectation of a reply. Now if we don’t get a reply, we find it rude or somewhat obnoxious. This hypocrisy is maybe why we never get to the ‘truth’ or ourselves, or why the truth in itself is always blurred. We’re more happy to be comforted in lies then be barraged in honesty. Funny that.
It is a shame, yet you could just wonder how many times you ‘fake it’ in day to day life. We hold onto so much in fear that we’ll lose a part of ourselves, or for insecurity of other’s opinions upon ourselves… Fundamentally and unfortunately it seems, we all live in fear.
