Recently i was sick and was in the hospital.So i had some time to think.I was thinking about fear.

The simplest of all fears is the fear of the dark.It is because darkness symbolizes the unknown in our minds.What is there in a dark room or a closet,is nothing but what you have kept inside it and what you take in when you go in (in your minds).I used to fear the dark when i was young and very gullible.I do not fear it now because of this line of thought that came to me some time back.

People tend to fear the unknown.Once you do not fear the unknown you have conquered one of the basic fears.Some people tend to just ignore their fears until they come face to face with it unexpectedly.For example:- some people fear insects and rodents.Most common of these fears is fear of spiders.People fear it because it is odd,has eight legs and can move in any direction it wants.The fear of spiders is mentioned in many books,even in the famous harry potter.Ron is scared of spiders.I also used to fear spiders until i learn that a normal human being eats 12 spiders in his lifetime while he is asleep.Isn’t that a thought that will chear you up when you see a spider again?
