I kept thinking for a while. Why sometimes our bodies feel cold and other times they don’t within the same circumstances?
It was just a day. Just like all other days, A one that comes to an end. Tired, is all what can describe you. Few minutes in silence on the chair that you prefer are enough to tell you how lazy you are. You can’t negotiate those minutes, no excuses to give, not all these accomplishments that you earned from the day. May be, because you already know that they are shadows and dusts. They are not enough.
So you just get up and walk.
To where?
After few steps you know. The answer just exists. Unconsciously you head to the bathtub.
“It might be warm, it might ease my tension, and it might make me happy.” Only a foolish hope.
This time was a bit different. I had a new idea. I wanted to feel cold, the feeling that I am used to. Though, it was freezing already. I was almost naked and got out of the bathroom.
It is weird the way our brains work. Why do we know ourselves in the mirror? And why am I shaking if I’m not feeling cold. I know I should but I don’t. I feel myself shaking. I see the vapor condensing out of my mouth like a dragon, but I am not feeling cold.
I kept thinking for a while. Why sometimes our bodies feel cold and other times they don’t within the same circumstances? And I felt a spot of warmth, something like a child’s hand onto my back, right at my heart’s level.
It was warm.
Suddenly I felt so cold. I was freezing. Only when I knew warmth I felt cold. I stopped for more few seconds. The warmth kept pumping to extend.
It was convicted to the whole body of mine. Then I realized. Our brains feel cold, but our hearts generate warmth.
Only once then I felt better. I am still alive. No matter how naked you are. You got a heart pumping with life.
Feel It.
