On the challenges of life.

One day a very frustrated writer went out loitering around midtown. For him, life becomes useless as his writing career has not been successful, hence, there is no more reason to continue living. As he went around, he passed by the crowd watching a running competition composed of 12 runners on their respective lanes. At a very impressive performance, runner from lane 1 won the first place. The writer asked him what made him run very fast? “Because I have very strong legs”, the runner replied.

On another occasion, the writer watched again a swimming competition composed 12 swimmers on their respective lanes too. At a very remarkable and impressive performance, swimmer from lane 1 won the first place. The writer asked him what made him an incredible swimmer? Then he answered, ” because I have  very strong arms and legs”.

In another occasion, the writer watched a running competition for one legged persons. This time compose of 12 runners too. The writer asked the winner what made him run very fast in spite that he had only one leg; then the man answered, “because I have a very strong leg remaining, that’s why?”.

In another unexpected occasion, the writer  witnessed a swimming competition for one-handed person. Just with previous incidents, the writer asked the winner what made him swum very fast in spite that he only had one hand. Then the swimmer answered ” because I have a very strong hand remaining”.

In a very weired occasion, this writer saw a man lying on the corridor. Very sickly and hungry. The writer noticed that the man does not have both arms and legs. When he asked the man how is he; the man answered this way, ” I am finishing the race”; then the writer went home with broken heart but deeply challenged.
