The inspiration for this narrative comes from a tv show that I watched recently. I have used the idiom literally and not figuratively for the title.
It was a beautiful summer morning.
And he decided to ride
his mounain bike
all the way up
the hill.
As he reached the placid lake
en route to the green hill,
he was suprised to
see his close pal
there – fishing.
He decided to stop and chat
with his pal for sometime.
It had been a long time
and they had a lot
to exchange.
Just as he got ready to go back
to his bike and mount it,
his pal yelled out that
he had caught a
really big fish.
He needed his help as it
was a vey big catch.
So he came back
to help his pal
in need.
Together they both managed
to pull out the big catch
and what they saw
left them both…
shell-shocked.
For it was not a large fish
that his pal had caught
but the decayed
corpse of a
man.
Before they had the time to flee,
a police car was already there -
waiting to arrest them – for
fishing in troubled
waters.
