A quick fun packed guide about things you can do when you are bored.

We all get those times, don’t we? When we cannot think of anything to do and we are bored out of our brains. Well, have no fear because here is a list of things you can do when you are bored. I do warn you they are stupid and some are silly!

1. Drink a glass of water and see how long you can gargle it for. The water has to stay in your mouth. This is a good activity for two or more people as you can make it into a real competition. Then you can give points for every second you can keep gargling for and for stupid noises add more points. Take off points for laughing.

2. Watch the TV and repeat everything said in a different accent of your choice. Just a few to consider are welsh, french, Italian and American. This is by no means a mickey take. Just pick a language and off you go, this could keep you amused for a little while.

3. Make up poems about how terribly bored you are. If you have a creative edge then this shouldn’t be too tedius. Make them funny and then you can always post them on Triond.

4. Find silly videos on youtube. This always keeps me amused for at least an hour. Just search silly videos and numerous amounts will come up. To get the most out of it, sign up for a youtube account so you can leave comments.

5. Attempt the Thriller dance from Michael Jackson. If you want to be really serious about it, look up the dance and learn it. And if you are really, really serious you could join up with your friends and make a show of it!

I know they are very silly but we have to have a little amusement in our lives, especially if you are bored.

This did make me laugh Emmie!
It reminded me of when I was drying up the dishes the other day and did Michael Jackson’s Thriller dance which was being played on the radio at the time. I then realised my wife (Elaine had turned the blinds fully open for the whole street to see. (There goes my chance on “Britain’s got talent” and thanks for your comment by the way)

    Kind regards

    Tim

Cheers Emmie. I’ve tried No. 4 a lot. I’ve tried 3 sort of, making up writings instead of poems. What’s the word for poetry that doesn’t rhyme? Porobably just poetry!
