Most of the time when my battery goes dead in my watch, I just buy another watch. I look at the tiny little screws on the back of the watch and think how tedious it might be to change the battery. It would be a lot easier for me to have a battery slot that I could push and slide open on my watch. I picture a flat AAA battery for the watch that I could just slide in. When the battery gets low, I picture a small red button on the watch that I could just push in to recharge the battery. You might think, “Nothing can be that easy.” Well, I think about how I keep my cordless phone on the hook to keep it charged up when it is low. Why not have a push rechargeable button for a watch?
Some watches are very complicated. I would like a very simple watch that tells the time and the date. Of course, I would like to have a push button on the side to light up the time in the dark, to set it on 12 or 24 hrs, and a push button to set for an alarm. On most of the watches that I ever had, I had to mash two or three buttons to change something. There is an A, B, C, and D button. It would be nice to push one button to change the time, one button to see in the dark, and so on. It is better to have things simple. By the time you finish figuring out how to set your watch and pushing all of the buttons, that’s using your battery. It may take an hour to figure out if it is complicated.
