When we dream it is because our mind is working, for some it is looking for answers, while others are seeking memories; many dream about flying, where are you flying to?

The last part of this article regards dreams those have to do with things that happened in the past or things in the future, which can be very uncomfortable for many. While flying toward the light has meant to many a sign of death, it has nothing to do with an upcoming death. It is trying to get you to reconnect with something in your past, usually something that is bothering you and your seeking answers. If the light is very bright you are seeking someone who has already passed away, it is something that needs to be forgotten; for most, it is a painful or hurtful memory. The other type of dream that can be alarming, the dreamer is flying he is spreading his wing, outward; which is the qualities of one who can see into the future. Any dream that involves flying with the wings spreading out, brings us to a higher intelligence, which is higher that the human mind can comprehend. After this dream be prepared, since you may in your conscious state of mind for see something that is about to happen; and then it does. If your dream has Angel wings then perhaps you’re about to hear news from this higher intelligence.

While this part might be too much for most to accept, keep in mind that we use less than 10 percent of our brain, and that energy is all around us. Some may feel this energy whether negative or positive, and channel it to their advantage; helping them to feel closer to God, one with the earth or able to feel or communicate with someone who has passed on to their after death.

I prefer to dream about flying freely, since I like to believe that I can set my goals no matter how big or small; and slowly achieve them with the help of my subconscious mind.

Very interesting article! I don’t think I have dreams where I’m flying, but it’s good to know what they could possibly mean if I do have them.

Thanks for the insight. When I was young my first apartment was an old house split down the middle. I lived there four years while I was in college. I am almost 50 and at least once to twice a year I dream of this old house. I usually own it and have redone it and my husband and I now live in it. A few years ago on a visit back to my hometown I went to see if the house was still there. It was and is still split with offices in it. I had hoped seeing it again would stop the dreams. It did not. Isn’t that strange?

A very informative and interesting article. Who would have thought deams of flying could have so many meanings?

  • fishfry aka Elizabeth Figueroa on Sep 8, 2009

    PRMACE

Visiting a home whether old or new, has many meanings, I believe that there is something in your sub conscious mind that you have consciously or subconsciously decided to lock away, ponder the years in that house. Compare it to where you are living now, is there something about where your are living that you dislike.
If the dream is not upsetting you, then perhaps it is just bring you back to happier times?
