They say that money can buy everything and everyone has a price, however, the best things in life are never for sale. Money can buy happiness, albeit short lived, and money can even buy health and beauty within limitations. There are plenty of things that money cannot buy at any price and this is a good thing to teach us a lesson to appreciate the real value in things that are not for sale.

1. Intelligence
Money can buy education and knowledge, however, it cannot buy the intelligence needed to get a good return on the investment. Intelligence may be tweaked and enhanced by following a healthy diet and getting enough exercise to open up the blood flow to the brain, but increased intelligence and a higher I.Q score are simply just not for sale. 

2. Love
Spending money on romance and forking out big bucks during courtship is no guarantee of any meaningful love life results. In fact, the opposite is true in many cases where a suitor is targeted for his or her bank account. Finding true love may be few and far between or may never show its face at all, even if you live to be a hundred. Shallow relationships and deceitful bargaining do not belong in the true sea of love. If you have found the love of your life, be grateful, and if not, no harm done. We are all important creatures whether we marry or not, so kick back and enjoy life with or without a partner. 

3. Self Satisfaction
The feeling of contentment from a life well lived is something you cannot beg, borrow or steal. This rich reward comes from following your heart and trying your best to contribute to humanity. Self satisfaction is not about bragging rights or shouting your accomplishments from the rooftop. Rather, its a quiet, inner voice that says you have done right and offers peace in the night that no pharmaceutical pill could ever supply. The best thing about achieving self satisfaction is that we start each day with a clean slate and write the next page of life anyway we want it to be. 

4. Height
The height that we reach at maturity is what we are stuck with for better or worse. A tall person who dreams of becoming a gymnast will forever be frustrated and left behind. Likewise a small person who admires a model must reckon he or she will never be one of them. There are no magic pills, no surgeries and no way of modifying the skeletal frame, so you might as well be happy with where you are, because in this area of life, money won’t buy you a darn thing.
