We say to one another as a youngster, to all the friends we make, we say we’ll be friends forever!  As life goes on, we change classes, schools or move and make new friends in new places.

It is we get older we become more realistic, there is no need to say friends forever, and just take it for granted that someone is a good friend. During special occasions, you may become overwhelmed and tell them just how special they are to you; which is a great idea.

See in reality life is short, here today gone tomorrow; are just a few of the phrases we say to one another, but the fact is, they are true. Don’t take the ones you love for granted let them know today, because anything can happen and tomorrow won’t come our way.

As we grow older, we have our steady friends, the ones we laugh and cry with, and pourour hearts out too; we look back over time and realize that twenty or thirty years have passed, some times we’ve been friends forever. We look back at the memories we have created through our life, while we watch each others children grow. The future for them just as it was with us has many uncertainties, yet with many things to dream. It is now that we sit back as life slows us down a bit, and reminisce the past.

We laugh at all the things we feared and realized how foolish they were, we laugh at some of the stupid things that we did in years gone by. We laugh and realize just how truly dangerous those activities were, but together we all survived; through the laughter and through the pain.

Lets hope and pray for each new tomorrow, knowing that you are just a call away, there are many things we have not done, more trips to plan, our children’s weddings to see, but this is just the beginning of this new stage of our life.

Then as we move on through, slowly we’ll depart and gradually together, we shall be reunited, in the loving home of Jesus Christ, where together we shall meet again.
