I thought I would share this with the world.

A friend is a person that you like and cares about, and who returns these feelings. A friend is a person you can count on and do things with, a person you can cry and smile with, and a person you can have fun and be serious with. A friend should not make you sad or angry, but make you feel happy or comfortable. A friend is a person you may want to share your memories, experiences and secrets with, and who is more valuable than the other people around you. A friend is not always just like you, with the same ideas or mind as you. A friend can be very different from you, and still be one of your best friends. There’s also “best friends”. These are the friends you like and have fun with, the most. A best friend is usually the one you share your secrets and your mind with. A best friend is the best of all your friends, and everyone has got a best friend, if they has got friends, meaning that there’s always someone that you like more than the other. Not everyone can be a best friend, and that’s OK, cause you don’t need everyone to be your best friends.

What does a friend do?

A friend makes you feel special and loved or liked. When you have friends, you feel that people likes you, and that someone cares about you, and that you actually mean something so someone. Having friends makes you feel good and makes you happy and satisfied. Friends can of course also make you feel bad, but then I wouldn’t really call them friends. Friends can also be the reason that you meet other people and get new friends, while you’re doing something nice, for example going to a movie or taking a trip into the city or something else. Friends are the best to do these things with, you wouldn’t really go to a movie with someone you didn’t know or didn’t know if you liked, would you? I don’t think so.

Why do you need a friend?

You don’t really need a friend, but life would be very boring and depressing if you didn’t have one. You can easily see that people with friends are much happier than people without friends, cause you need to talk to people, or you‘ll get lonely and unhappy. Also, it is a nice feeling being a part of a group of people, and it’s nice having people around you. You can also say that you need friends to train your social skills. You need these skills for when you one day will get a job and need to communicate and talk to your colleagues in a work-related conversation. There’s not many jobs to choose from when you’re bad at communicating with people, and it’s always a big advantage to have these “social skills”, and being able to communicate and make friends. Even at work.

It’s not always easy to make friends. Sometimes those kids you see at school with no friends aren’t really so lonely. I had very few friends in school but many friends outside of school. It is the belief that they are strange or wierd that keeps them from making friends in school. I bet if you were to walk up to them and sart a conversation, you would find that they really aren’t as wierd as you once thought. Maybe they are and theat makes them who they are. Let’s face it, wierd friends can make life interesting. You will have many friends in your life, the ones that count the most are the ones that stick with you no matter what.
I enjoyed this and wish you the best of luck and many happy years.

That’s true Christy. I get what you mean. But later on, if you don’t have any friends, you’ll miss a lot of fun and you’re not going to be as happy as you could be cause friends is, like Francios said, what makes us live. Maybe a little harsh to say, but I share some of the same thoughts. Thanks you also, Carissimi, for your comment :)

    Best regards,

Maybe you could write one about – are online friendships real freindships?

  • BluSphere on Jun 30, 2011

    That’s a great topic Rosettaartist1! :)
    Thanks for the idea.

    Blessings,
    Blu
