My view on gay rights.
OK, my position on gay rights may be considered out of line or mean, but the fact is, the “normal” marriage is between a man and woman. It’s always been that way, and I honestly think that gay marriage, or “legal bandages”, which are the same exact thing, are disgusting.
Now, I have gay friends, which does make my relationship different with them.
I think that the policy of “don’t ask, don’t tell”, which is viewed by most republicans, is the best policy for this situation. I don’t need to know about how gay you are, or how you think people should respect you for your decision, or “protect” you. Straight people are “normal”, in my opinion, you gays are still people, but different, and not in a good way. We don’t need any Gay/Straight Alliances to let them be “Out And Proud”. They can do their gay stuff on their own, without me knowing about it. I don’t want to know about it because i never asked them about it. If I really want to know about your personal life, I’ll ask.
There is this one person who really gets on my nerves, and it’s not only because their annoying, it’s because their too open about being gay. They have to relate being gay to many things, almost everything. They disgust me, and they just need to know when to shut their mouth. People might think that I’m mean about this, but it’s a fact that many people don’t want to know about gays, or have anything to do with them.
