software, applications, virtual memory, generic host

how to solve this type of problem?

what is generic host process?

why is it recurring?

well i have this problem for almost 3 months. everytime i am going to start my computer and then plug my prepaid modem and start surfing the net or watching live stream videos, it will always pop up “generic host process error”. So my remedy for this problem for almost 3 months is restarting my pc and hitting my system calibrator again, and plugging in again my modem for an internet connection…It will occur again after another hour or minute depending on the load…

Well it was just last night that i ask my friend about this problem.. well he just simply told me that some of the applications are just requiring updates. So he just ask about my Operating System and then he told me to go into the website for me to check what are the prerequisites to solve my problem.

  1. Go to this website “http://support.microsoft.com” since i am using a Windows XP SP 2 OS.
  2. Then check on the resolution corner on what version is needed to be downloaded for your OS
  3. Since i am using a Windows XP SP, so you have to click on this
  4. DownloadDownload the WindowsXP-KB894391-x86-ENU.exe package now. (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=A87B44B9-7A6A-49B6-BD89-AFAD4E049C48&displaylang=en) .
  5. Then after, if the download is done it will pop up for registration and installation in your pc.
  6. Then it will require you to close all your work and restart your pc. So that the newly installed application will be working thouroughly.
