One of the worst energy suckers is a bad mood. It doesn’t just make the prson having it feel bad but also sends the vibes to everyone around. While a bad mood could be a result of n number of things like a break-up, a hectic schedule, an event not happening as expected or simply a day starting on a sour note, we need to program it into ourselves that it can be overcome.
Know this once and for all. Positive attitude is the way to live life fully. It helps you in every walk of life. If you are feeling blue and think that the world is turned against you, it would still be a good idea to be positive and face the obstacles with the intention of looking for a solution.
I share with you 5 tips from my personal experience which can uplift your mood and make you feel alive anytime that you are feeling low. Of course its upto you to simply read them or to put them into use. So, here goes:
shift your focus: Whenever not in mood, shift your focus CONSCIOUSLY to a thought or activity which induces positivity. If faced with a problem, shift your focus to the solution . :)
You have to realize that focussing on the problem or focussing on the solution , both require the same effort. so why not be smart and focus on the solution and try zipping past the issue at hand ? However this is easier said than done. The power to shift your focus comes with experience and will power. Excercise your will power and stay focussed on the positive.
change the environ: Change the environment and feel different instantly. go for a walk, check out your prized plants in the back garden, listen to the birds chirping, go grab a cuppa coffee [if in office], have a chat with a neighbour with whom you get on well….you get the picture.
When you change the environment, you are moving away from the place which hampers your spirit into a[hopefully] neutral environ. When in the neutral environ, concentrate on that moment and concsiously avoid thinking of the issue.
get in touch with your higher self : Every person has a talent/ skill which comes naturally to them and doing which they automatically forget everything else…in other words, which connects them to their higher self. Find yours and completely loose your self in it. It could be anything – writing, yening, singing, repairing something,collecting something….
fall back on your pals: in those moments when you are not really your happening self, try talking to a good friend. you can talk abt the issue or about some other topic. the point is , when you talk to someonewith whom you are close and comfortable, you instantly start feeling a sense of support and companionship. You have the feeling that no matter what, there is someone who cares and who will be there…
Always try to have and maintain good friends. They are the ones who form our support system when we need it.
Law of attraction : Apply Law of attraction to your day today life.Law of attraction says that thoughts attract like thoughts. Simply put, it means that if you think thoughts that make you happy, you will attract more of such thoughts. Like wise about negative thoughts. This topic is so huge that even 2 pages might not really do justice to it. Put in a nut shell: you have the power to create your life with the thoughts that you think.
So even if not in a good mood, think thoughts of the problem being solved, think thoughts of abundance, think thoughts of love and peace. Thoughts have the power to translate into things so always choose your thoughts.
