The arteries are strained

The platelets and capsules are confused,

the body hardly manoeuvres directions,

the brain becomes a lost city,

the inner beats become perplexed,

and results in swollen points.

‘Pssst’ like a deflating balloon,

or ‘gbam’ like a jammed door,

hell is let loose, the spirit is down.

Ask the living bodies experienced,

That’s how the tender heart is broken.

   When a heart is broken, life is like a living hell. A lot of emotions meshed in sadness, anger, and vengeance are raised up in the soul. There have been a lot of cases on the mass media about issues and deaths leading to stories of heartbreak. It takes some processes to get over heartbreak.

   The first and most important is to calm down. This is good specifically for healthy living, the heat that arise from such situation, needs a ‘step down’ moment .The next step is to visit a counselor .When an heart is broken, it is as if one is unable to hear, and need some professional voice ,that could help re-open the closed doors. You need to listen and do all that is asked of you. Take the counsellor’s word, for facts, weigh it effectively, and put yourself strongly in it, no matter how impossible it may be.

   It is advisable to avoid a relationship of the opposite sex for a while. It is not good to rush into another relationship as a solace for the sinking heart .Such actions could raise more doubts and cause more problems, it is like adding salt to an open wound. The best solace, one can find is with friends who understand the situation. Go out frequently with them, and see if they won’t try to put a smile on your face, which is what is strongly needed in such sad moments.

  You could also pick up a hobby, to cover up the effects of the rousing anger and thoughts that come up from time to time .It could be tennis, children stories, or card games, but stay away from alcohol, it does not help but add to the pain.

   Lastly, you must understand that the biggest tool to getting over heartbreak is yourself. You need to calm down, meet a counsellor, do as you are told, pick up a hobby, and interact with good friends .All that is needed, starts with you. If you must get over, a heartbreak situation, that lives the body sapped out of strength, and make one feel lost and misplaced, it starts with you.
