Giraffe’s are very strangely made if you think about it; they have spots and are very different structured. Giraffe’s are the tallest creatures on earth today designed so they can eat vegetarian plants and trees. They also have 21-inch tongues that they sometimes clean their ears with. A Giraffe can go without water longer then a camel can. These are just some of the amazing things these animals can do.

            Giraffe’s behavior is very social and they live in loose open herds when traveling. Dominance is tested in males by them swinging their necks at each other to test their strength. Baby giraffes are about 6-feet tall and grow rapidly at most 1-inch a day for the first two months then they can eats leaves on the trees. Most predators don’t attack adult giraffes but lions, hyenas, and leopards do attack some of the young. Scientists say that only a fourth of baby giraffes survive in their first year.
