In my opinion it’s ridiculous to take such simple things and turn them into something we have conjured up ourselves. When we see the word Devil, does it grab our attention or cause us to stop reading? Where is it that our minds take us each time we hear the word? Keeping it simple, and using common sense, if we try to understand the word and its true definitions, reading we see that it means: One who is mischievous, unhappy, a tease, a tormentor, a manipulator, annoying, etc.. : An apprentice (anyone who contributes to it’s cause). Another definition in my dictionary says: A machine with teeth for tearing up things…Think about that! There are many beliefs and traditions we carry with us through life, and not all of us believe the same way, but if we truly believe that there is a God, we know why we have a choice and what we should do. Anything we allow to annoy us, or torment us, confuses us, which causes us to be unhappy, and in return weakens our natural defenses God gave us through birth, eventually taking over and tearing us up. If we would stop allowing the subliminal trickeries to define us and read from the right places and acknowledge our good qualities using the tools we were born with, I bet we could one by one do away with each apprentice and eventually learn how to reclaim what is rightfully ours, eventually giving the devil his due, kicking it in the teeth and handing it over to God. To achieve what we were meant to achieve, we would have to believe even without seeing and that takes alot of faith, Remembering who gave us that choice and why… W.W.J.D.
