This covers God and Evolution as opposed to God vs Evolution. I will examine theories to the origin of life and coincide them with the belief in God.

I want to make it extremely clear that I am not supporting any religion and I am not religious at all. I don’t completely agree with the Bible and I certainly don’t take it literally. The belief that the world is 2000 years old is completely absurd and you should seriously evaluate your beliefs if you believe this. To deny that natural selection exists in order to support your own belief is inaccurate. If you see the Bible as a book of metaphors and moral advice then I believe that to be perfectly fine. Just remember that there are many religions throughout the world and believers all believe they’re right just as much as you do, keep doubt in the back of your mind.

Moreover, “To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selections, seems, I confess, absurd in the highest degree.” Even Darwin himself acknowledges that evolution alone couldn’t possibly have been the only guiding force behind species we see today.

Using only our common sense, we can begin to see there’s no possible way that the universe and life have created themselves. We see the necessity of an all-powerful being that does not need to obey certain laws that must have been created. For instance, gravity. Laws like gravity are completely necessary for the existence of most things! Without these laws (light, motion, gravity) we would have nothing. Without a perfect amount of oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide on earth there would be no life. The perfect climate, protection from radiation, and the right combination of molecules for liquid water, life ceases to exist. Additional things required for life’s existence are: a large moon and it’s gravitational pull, a sun with the right size and a correct distance from it, in the right location of the galaxy, protected by gas giant planets, a terrestrial planet with a crust thick enough to have plate tectonics, enough heat in it’s interior and magnetic fields, and enough water and continents. Thus, with all these perfect circumstances it seems highly unlikely they all happened by chance; nevertheless, still possible. Scientist have estimated that the chances of all these circumstances coming together is 1 in 1,000,000,000. All these things that we think of as just being there, actually serve a purpose towards our survival.

Conclusion

Having looked at the evidence and probabilities I can safely assume that there is a God or a creator. Humans being the dominant most intelligent species on the planet, must be pretty special. We are the ultimate in life. Never in the history of the planet has there been a civilization as advanced and complex as ours. Before you get too arrogant, keep this in mind. All creatures and all things are essentially made out of the same thing. All species have the same type of code that keeps you alive and are made from the same matter that keeps you physical! We can assume that life was created and might even have a purpose. As far as what that purpose is, that’s another one of life’s great mysteries we’ll probably never figure out.

Yes, that’s the problem with the world, everyone thinks they are right.
Even all the religions can’t agree 100% yet they all believe in a creator.
Scientist can’t agree on everything and they use science to prove onto themselves.
The one thing everyone should be able to agree on is that if all living beings had absolutely none of the five senses sight, hearing, smell, taste and feel (physical and emotional feel) (possibly emotional feel is more connected to the psychic of a being, but non the less still feelings).
Would everything be just matters of mass?
As there is no senses to tell you otherwise.
When will mankind realise that we are all here to help one another progress in this known universe.
Everyone has something to contribute for progressing mankind no matter how small the imput (some humans would be surprised how some ideas eventuated from and by whom).
Look at all the different economies around the world, all doing the same thing to get the same result (but they are only concerned about their little box or perhaps their back pocket)? There is a whole wide world (if not universe) out there.
Is life not about living it to the fullest or finding a balance in everyday life?
The only certainty (or constant, if your a scientist) in life, is death (as soon as your born you are dying, no matter the timing).
It would be true to say we cannot have just one leader (as mentioned earlier everyone THINKS they are right) that’s why we have conflict/war in this world and possibly that’s how all the different religions got started?
But with compromise and working out the issues we can all have have a chance to progress.
Not all want to do what the another individual does, but you will find groups of individals that do.
For example we all don’t want to be a doctor, or mechanic, or scientist, or farmer etc.
But we do need all for mankind progress?
We all don’t want what the other has/wants (well at least not 24/7), but when it is wanted it should be readily available for everyone and not just the ones with a certain product that has ruined mankind to date (that product being MONEY).
Mankind has made money the newest of gods, there is a saying money makes the world go around, yet is was spinning before money (now there is something for the scientist to base a theory on).
There is speculation about the second coming of man?
Yet if mankind was to all work together as ONE, would this not be the case?
There are some Nostradamus, so called experts out there that say Nostradamus predicted aliens would come down and impregnate humans to make a super race?
Yet we have the science now to be able to do this.
These so called experts also say that Nostradamus predicted the end of the world, they mentioned the earth will be engulfed in darkness, followed by great light (which they translate as being an explosion)
Look at they way the world economy is heading today, if it keeps going down this path, would we not have to turn off all the lights out around the world?
Because in today’s society, mankind says money rules, so no money, no productivity (oh my, the world would be engulfed in darkness as we would have to turn off all the power stations)
Then man would realise, money does not make the world go around.
So then all the power stations would start back up, and what do know, we have the world lighting up once again (but wait NO explosion), just mankind finally realising we DO need one another to help mankind progress and not money.
In both Genisis and Evolution you need something or someone to start/make progress anything known to man.
Anyway who in their right mind would WANT to rule the world 24/7 for the rest of their lives.
If there is a real god even he/she would not want to rule every day (well it is written, god rested after creating).
There are many different races on this planet, with many different ideas with the same goal in mind.
Mentioned earlier life is about balancing what we do in everyday life, even the heartrate when view by electronic means goes up, down.
Yet when we cease to live the heartrate flatlines (the perfect balance)?
I could go on more but I THINK that’s enough for now.

Not a bad comment, just have to watch the spelling mistakes.
