As they were going though the Ural mountains the forest were thick and deep especially at night they built bond fire to keep away foxes and wolves they were still 300 miles from home. Most of the time they stayed on there horses and in caves where they could start a fire if they could find enough branches to start one and the skins were a must to stay alive in sub zero temperatures Siberia.  Nickolas remarked about were wolves that wondered around the steppe like Igor Markov killing and eating any thing it can catch;Alexandr scoffed and said that’s superstitious nonsense brother do you believe that? No but it takes your mind off of the weather doesn’t it as they laugh about it yeah that it does. While they are trenching though the snow Elena was giving birth  to her son with the help of her sister Marie. As she put the baby in Elena’s arms she ask what will you call him; she said goderick why goderick asked Marie follower of god she explained. It’s so cold out there I hope our men are OK they’ve never been this late before but Elena you have a son that needs you now there OK worry about him. Even in winter you can hear the wolves howl at the moon like a lost soul wanting to find it’s way home. They finally crossed the mountains and walk into Novosibirsk tired cold and hungry we must rest we will be home tomorrow as they walked into a Inn  and sat down and ordered there meal the men were talking about the new grand prince Ivan. Nicholas and Alexandr  talked about how they had a good year there traps were full and they traded many skins for gold with the Emperor of China this year, but we better sleep tomorrow we will be home again.
