My thoughts.
They wouldn’t have liked me in office; and here’s why i would have taken Keith Olbermanns advice bust the trust. cut the power of Wall street. down to a third of it original size that it was. If they go under they can enact the anti trust laws like they did in the early 1980s against ATT and Bell telephone companies breaking them up into smaller companies that fostered competition and brought new phone companies into the game. i wonder why they can’t do that with A I G and the health insurance companies too. seems to me a little competition would be good for them too. and would lower the price of heath care for young companies so they could cover there employees
I personally wouldn’t have bailed them out till they had been broken down; but i would have helped Ford Motors and looked into whether there was any thing salvageable at General motors or Chrysler or let them reorganize them serves in bankruptcy court and then help them start over. I would have looked into big fer-ma too and see if we could foster competition in the drug business too to lower price with out putting the public at risk. But they wouldn’t go for that most of congress is owned by the lobbyist it’s not in there best interest to be broken down into smaller pieces they wouldn’t as rich as quickly as they do now.wouldn’t that be a pitty boo hoo.
