The finale for The Real Housewives of OC was on last night and  was followed by the premiere of The Real Housewives of NYC..

First,  I thought that the finale of the OC Wives series was a total disaster. Lynn’s two daughters showed up to the end of summer party drunk and disgusting which didn’t surprise me. What surprised me was Lynn’s lame excuse that the Limo was too long and therefore she couldn’t tell what they were doing or if they had been drinking. Really, Lynn? You really are dumber than a pile of rocks. Perhaps you were checking out your face lift in the Limos mirror the entire time rather than checking up on your kids? Perhaps you are the worst parent ever, based on the actions of your children and what I have observed of their behavior. Either way, the girls behaved badly and Lynn was at a total loss as to how she should deal with their behavior. Even though her daughters are self-entitled brats, they never had a chance  with Frank and Lynn as their parents. Lynn and Frank are the most clueless people I have ever seen. What’s worse is that they are clueless that they are clueless!!

Tamra fought with Simon in their Limo and after a barage of four letter words she was not about to let go of her hurt and anger. Prior to leaving for the party she asked Simon for his advice regarding what she should wear to the party and as usual, he responded in a negative way to her poor choice of several outfits that were totally age inappropriate. Why did she ask him if she intended to wear the clothing anyway? Was she looking for an excuse to fight since she knew what his reaction would be? Simon lives in a fantasy land where his wife is concerned and expects her to be the perfect little Stepford wife where as Tamra is having some sort of mid-life crisis and under Vicki’s tutelage, has now become Miss Independant. Frankly, Tamra is neither the smartest nor the hottest housewife in the OC and I am not sure which partner is more off kilter; she or Simon. Either way it doesn’t matter anymore because they are getting a divorce and in my opinion, Simon is well rid of her. She and Vicki seem to have a better marriage than she and Simon do.
